Our Mission Statement
To promote, support and develop walking football participation through the Greater Brisbane Region as an all-inclusive social and sporting activity.
Aims and Objectives
- To foster community interest in, and in involvement with, walking football.
- To engage and maintain affiliation with other walking football associations.
- To promote the health, wellbeing and social inclusion benefits of walking football.
- To create and support a walking football competition structure at all age and skills levels.
- To organise and provide walking football tournaments and festivals.
- To codify and regularly update a set of walking football guidelines.
- To develop and train walking football referees and officials.

Participation
Increase participation in all age groups and across all genders and to raise knowledge, awareness and access to walking football throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas.
Support
Walking Football Brisbane will support local groups/clubs and individuals by offering resources and information, enabling them to develop their programs and effectively recruit members and volunteers.
Social Inclusion
Walking Football Brisbane will help deliver and support projects which aim to increase walking football opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged and other minority groups. We will also aim to provide the opportunities and environment for these individuals to develop new life skills, such as leadership and team work skills.
Promotion
Walking Football Brisbane will help deliver and support projects which aim to increase walking football opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged and other minority groups. Events
Walking Football Brisbane will strive to deliver, organise and support a program of competitions and events (working with existing clubs and partners) and will facilitate the selection and administration of representative teams if and when appropriate.
Education
Walking Football Brisbane, in partnership with other Associations/Clubs/Groups, will promote the development of a Refereeing Framework to establish a recognised qualification pathway for referees and officials..
