President - Charles Fischer
Charles has lived in the Oxley area since 2006 and has held multiple roles on the Bowls Club Committee. His community involvement extends beyond the Bowls Club where he and his wife have been heavily involved with Committees at the Centenary Stormers Soccer Club, Oxley QCWA Branch, and St. Joseph's school P&F. He also remains active in other community sporting clubs through his children's involvement with Cricket, Little Athletics, Swimming, Vigaro, and Dance. Charles is excited to be involved with the growth of Club Oxley to become a welcoming destination for the local community to utilise the club's facilities.
Treasurer - Leonie Robertson
Leonie, raised in Napier New Zealand being 1 of 5 children, and, married into a rugby union family, works in the field of accountancy. Leonie is the founder / supporter of Brisbane Roar Football team and has been involved with Brisbane Walking Football for over 7 years as a player and a referee. Since 2022, Leonie has been the treasurer, and continuing, for Oxley Bowls Club, and has been closely working with a group of motivated club members, who want to see the club flourish and in the process enjoy the varied events hosted at the club.
Secretary - Ashutosh (Ash) Raina
Ash has been living in the Oxley/Sherwood area for the last decade and has been involved with the club for the last 3 years. Ash, apart from running KPPro, a boutique IT & Digital organisation and serving local businesses, is also one of the founder/organisers of our suburban craze event, Diwali In Oxley, happening successfully at the Club for the last 2 years. Ash has lived in India, USA, Czech Republic, UK, Malaysia, Singapore, (& Sydney), before moving to Brisbane (which is home now). Ash likes to travel, watch sports, play badminton and follow news and politics very closely.
