Meals on Wheels – Sherwood District

OUR MEALS ARE:

 frozen main meals, soups and desserts delivered to your door, by our volunteers, between 8.30 and 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

 available in gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, pureed, diabetic and other allergy-free options

served in disposable, microwavable and oven safe meal container

There are no contracts and no delivery fees. Just great meals and great service!

ADVOCACY

 You can use an advocate on your behalf at Meals on Wheels. This could be a family member, friend or advocacy service.

TRANSLATION SERVICES

For help with translation in languages other than English, contact the Translating and
Interpreting Service on 131 450.
An interpreter can then help you talk to My Aged Care.
For in-person sign language and video remote interpreting, contact Auslan Connection

For relay calls, ‘voice to text’ or ‘text to voice’ and ‘AUSLAN to English’ or ‘English to

PRIVACY,COMPLAINTS & FEEDBACK

We are committed to protecting and upholding the right to privacy of clients, staff, volunteers, management members and representatives of agencies we deal with.
We are also open to receiving complaints and feedback from our clients and agencies. Complaints can be made verbally or in writing, are recorded on our complaints register and followed up via our complaints process. You will be kept informed of the progress.

You can also make a complaint to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. Contact the Commision at agedcarequality.gov.au under ‘making a complaint’ or phone 1800 951 822.
